Deree, The American College of Greece, is the largest, oldest American-sponsored college in Europe.  Located on a breathtaking hillside at the edge of Athens, Deree’s campus offers an ideal setting to study in Greece, providing an expansive curriculum, modern classrooms, an impressive library, and Olympic-quality athletic facilities.

Academics
Deree, offers 21 majors, 32 minors, & 1000 course per year, including Accounting & Finance, Art History, Business, Communication, Computer Info. Systems, Economics, English, Environmental Studies, History, Info. Housing & Meals
Exchange students live in Deree’s residence complex about two blocks from campus. The two or three bedroom apartments have fully-equipped kitchens, full bathrooms, & balconies.  
Cost Information
Students pay their regular tuition to UM and their room and board to Deree.  A double dorm room costs €4,000/semester or €1,700/summer and meals cost about €1,300/semester or €300/summer.  Books cost about €300/semester or summer.  UM financial aid can be applied to tuition, living and travel expenses while on this program. 

Credit Transfer
Students will register for classes upon arrival at Deree.  Students must take a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester at Deree, which transfers to 12 UM credits, or 6 credit hours for summer, which transfers to 6 UM credits.

Semester 2: mid-February to mid -June
Summer:  mid-June to mid-July
