Queensland, Australia
The Sunshine State

Queensland, Australia’s north easternmost state, earns it’s name, the Sunshine State, with 300 days of sunshine a year.  It is home to some of the country’s most dazzling attractions and friendliest people.  With vibrant cities, miles of white sand coastline, tropical rainforests, and access to the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland has it all.
Brisbane, or Brissie as it’s called, is the capital of Queensland and Australia’s third largest city with 1.5 million people.  Brisbane is a beautiful city with tall skyscrapers, a rugby stadium, and numerous botanical gardens. Some of the best views of the city are from water taxis on the the Brisbane River, which runs through the heart of Brisbane.  Griffith’s South Bank campus is located here; Mt. Gravatt, Nathan, and Logan campuses are located outside Brisbane’s city limits, in the surrounding suburbs.
Gold Coast
Located 60 miles south of Brisbane are the high rises and white sandy beaches of the Gold Coast, Australia’s holiday destination.  People flock here for world class surfing,  international cuisine, theme parks, golf courses, and nightlife.  The Gold Coast campus, located in a quiet neighborhood, is just a 10 minute bus ride from the beach and the action.
