Berlin School of Economics and Law
The Berlin School of Economics and Law,(BSEL) was founded in 1971 and has since become one of the largest and most distinguished institutions for business studies at both the undergraduate, and post-graduate levels. BSEL enrolls over 4,800 students from over 60 countries. The University emphasizes internationally- oriented business and management education through its innovative program.

The language of instruction at BSEL is mainly German, however students may take courses in English from the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics. There are a wide array of courses available in this department including Marketing, Management, Accounting, Finance, and Economics. Free German Intensive Language courses are available for foreign students three weeks prior to the start of each semester.
Housing & Meals
BSEL’s International Office helps students find housing in Berlin, using in student residence halls. Students pay their tuition to UM and their room and board in Berlin. The average rent in residence halls is 200-280€ per month. A meal at the cafeteria costs about 3€. BSEL estimates the cost of living in Berlin to be between 600 and 750€ per month. A student visa for study in Germany costs US$40. UM financial aid can be applied to tuition, living and travel expenses while on this program.
Students will register for classes upon arrival at BSE.L. The minimum full-time load is 24 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System), which transfers to 12 UM credits, per semester.
