Founded in 1939, the Aarhus School of Business (ASB) currently enrolls over 14,000 students, of which 12 percent are international.  Aarhus School of Business ranks among the largest business schools in Europe. Furthermore, it is the largest business and social sciences unit in Denmark at university level with a broad academic base, encompassing both traditional business disciplines and social science disciplines. ASB is an European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accredited institution and is consistently rated as one of the best business schools in Europe.

Housing & Meals
Exchange students are guaranteed housing at ASB through their housing program.  Most rooms offered are in student residence halls or other accommodation facilities (apartment, house).

Cost Information
Exchange students pay their regular tuition to UM, and their room and board in Denmark.  The cost of living in Denmark is relatively higher than in other European countries.  Students should expect to pay between 4,000 and 20,000 Danish kroner (DKK) per month for accommodation, DKK 3,000 to 4,500 for food, and at least DKK 2,000 per semester for books.  A student visa for Denmark costs US$90.  Financial aid can be applied towards living and travel expenses while on exchange.  

Credit Transfer
Students will register for their classes upon arrival at ASB.  ASB uses the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).  Students should enroll in 30 ECTS credits per semester which is equivalent to 15 UM credits.  The minimum full-time load at ASB is 24 ECTS.
